In ancient Greek cities, an open space served as a meeting ground for the citizens' various activities. Emerging social movement worldwide brings people to rethink the design of public space, where there is a clear need for our urban landscapes to provide places for people to assemble, discuss and get organized.

Adjoining Sydney's most extensive green urban park and culture centre, Domain Carpark's connectivity makes it a desirable site to be transformed into a modern Agora. At the same time, the existing use of the Domain Carpark has to be maintained in parallel. The current car park building will be revitalized into a community hub, and public space, with multipurpose rooms, community hall, maker space, galleries, and most importantly place to protest.
