Situated in one of the biggest green spaces in downtown Toronto, the Trinity Bellswood Community Recreational Centre was outdated and could not fully cater to neighbouring residences' needs. Therefore a redevelopment scheme was required. The new scheme includes a 2-lane Olympic standard swimming pool with related facilities, performing space, staff offices and skate rental facilities. The architectural design of the building utilized the natural topography of the land, which extends along the slope.
